Media Mastr is your Media Barcode Label Headquarters! We manufacture all types of Media Labels including LTO, SDLT, DLT, 9840, 3592, AIT, SAIT, 4mm, 8mm, 9940, 3480, 3490, 3570, MO, etc.

Provide us with the label format you are using, the numbering sequence you wish to use and if there are any leading alpha positions that you require. You can use standard color coding or customize it if you wish.

Labeling and Initialization Service

Should you wish to purchase your media labeled, initialized and ‘ready to go’ when it is delivered, we can supply the media from our stock (or yours), label and initialize the media right here in our lab. We re-shrink wrap it and pack it in its original manufacturer’s carton. Cartons are labeled with the sequence numbers of the cartridges enclosed so you don’t have to open boxes searching for the correct sequence.

We can initialize 3480, 3490, 3590J, 3590K,9840,9940 and LTO cartridges.

Erasure

Many cartridges can be erased on bulk tape degaussers. Some formats have servo tracks written on them by the manufacturer. When erased on a bulk tape degausser, all the data is removed but the cartridge is rendered useless when the servo track is erased. We can erase your 3590J, 3590K, 9840 and 9940 tapes on our tape drives without disturbing the servo track so they can be reused.

Recycle your tapes

Do you have scratch tapes that you would like to reuse? Ship your tapes to us to be cleaned and erased and/or re-labeled and initialized! All labels are removed except manufacturer’s original labels. We then erase your tapes on bulk tape degaussers or tape drives. Should you wish we can re-label your tapes with new barcode labels and initialize to your specifications. Tapes are then shrink wrapped, boxed in new boxes and returned to you looking like new!
